Let's Go, Linked Arm in Arm



I could really go for a night walk around Prague right now. Where it's just warm enough to wander with a light jacket, a good friend and no map. Anyone up for catching the next plane out of here? I know this great pub just off the 3, 9, 14 and 24 tram lines at Vodičkova...

The Days of a Pub Culture

It's certainly true that the best times you can have are when surrounded by friends. And no where is there an atmosphere better suited to this particular hang-out world than the pub culture that permeates the Czech Republic. It may be freezing and dark outside (as it is a good portion of the year there) but inside, downstairs, and/or in the back corners of some of the county's most unique restaurants you can find friends, food and frothy cheer in enough plenty to set even the coldest of hearts aglow.

Easter Here and There

One year ago on this precise holiday, I was walking the streets of Prague, wandering the Easter market in Old Town Square and avoiding willow whip armed boys. It's a Czech tradition for the boys of a town, armed with small braided willow whips, to playfully whip the girls in order to keep them young and beautiful. But don't worry ladies, we have our revenge later that night by dumping cold water on them while they are returning home from the bars.

European Galavanting


I recently studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic and have a multitude of favorite photos from my months of galavanting. I can guarantee this isn't the last of my Europe photos but here are two for starters. The above photo is the Charles Bridge in Prague and below is outside the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest.
